If you are a beginner and your story is big (a 2-hour video) you can divide the story into several segments -- You can begin by using 5-minute segments, or even by still smaller segments, say 1-2 minute long segments.
Once you start building confidence, your speed will follow suit. You will be surprised how quickly your listening skill develops. Don't rush it. Give yourself time to absorb the material.

Children's videos:
(1) Try working on very short videos, say children's videos.
